Marry Me
For years the world has wondered, what would happen if two unmarried comedy writers teamed with a happily married priest to answer questions regarding married life? And now the world has its answer. It all started in 2012 when Cullen and Kevin met Susan, the staff chaplain at an Episcopal Summer Camp where the two worked, the infatuation was instant. By 2013 it had evolved to recurring desperation as the two would proclaim “Marry Me!” after every interaction with Susan despite the fact that she was married, residing with her husband on the same mountain. By the end of the summer this had evolved into a podcast-the three would team up to dish out advice with regards to marital life. Are you Married, Soon-to-be married, or generally anxious about the concept of marriage? Then we want to hear from you. Send your questions in to: Marryme.annual@gmail.com

This week Cullen, Kevin and Susan offer some real talk as they address the concept of relationship burnout. Turns out it's a complicated topic with several causes and appropriately enough, several solutions. The conversation is based on Randi Gunther's piece on Relationship Disenchantment. Also discussed: the surprising amount of thought that goes into wedding reception seating.

Back from spring break, Cullen, Kevin and Susan are reunited! The kid talk is done (for the time being) which means they can focus aspects of marriage and LTRs that affect everyone, all while decreasing the odds that Kevin will slip up and say they're going to "talk about having sex with kids" again. This week, the gang tackles Self Care. What does it mean and how do you do it? What makes self care so important when already have another person attached to your life, shouldn't they be your care?

In this week's episode Cullen and Kevin are joined (once again) by Cullen's older brother Connor, a public school teacher with an expansive knowledge in the world of how schools handle sex ed curriculum and to help fill the void left in Susan's absence Andrew and Emily step up to the plates. The five discuss how to talk to kids about sex from the perspective of an actual parent which leads to a discussion on discussing gender identities, losing virginity, and masturbation. Is a discussion about discussions that are a must listen for any parent, which these five certainly are not.
